Essendon: 16.16 (112)
Richmond: 8.12 (60)

Danny Frawley came out this week and stated "The Tigers of 2002 are a much stronger and physically tougher unit than 2001". 67,000 people saw that debunked. There was a song written in the late 50’s ‘The Great Pretender’ not sure who it was written about then but any 2002 cover version who no doubt be modelled on the Richmond Football Club. Mark Mercuri tore the tiges a new hole while Lloyd managed 3 goals. Cory McGrath again, on the emergencies. Mark Bolton was still **** and we saw the first of Ted Richards as well.

One of the few highlights of the year. Spud proclaiming to the world "we will not be intimidated by Essendon, rah, rah, rah". Thirty seconds into the match, The Skunk swoops on loose ball, drills it, game over. Campo gets dragged, Richo does a hammy and Richmond are still seen by us as 'The Toothless Tigers', they are still our b*tches. We own them.

where's wally?

Loved this game. Shut the tigers fans at work right up.
