According to Nova 919 in Adelaide this morning, 16 years after the show was sensationally pulled mid broadcast, Australia's Naughiest Home Videos will finally be showed, in full, next Thursday night at 8:30pm (before the Footy Show)

Wonder what the other half hour was like...

Gee, Nine is reaching.

It's got me interested :o

Crosby87
19 Aug 2008, 18:23
I suppose it will generate interest, but it's an obvious desperation ratings move.

I guess they had to wait till Packer died.

Hoggy
19 Aug 2008, 22:41
It should be hosted by Tony Martin, Ed Kavalee and Richard Marsland.

Mr Eagle

Doug Mulray - a comedian ahead of his time.

Or maybe not :D

Gasbope
20 Aug 2008, 11:35
They might as well go and take a steaming **** on Kerry Packers grave.

What are the odds they'll cut this off after 36 minutes and put an episode of Wings on???

SunKing
20 Aug 2008, 15:46
Wouldn't mind an episode of Wings actually.

This is probably the shittest thing i have ever seen

wally funk
28 Aug 2008, 21:42
i'm sure it wasn't pulled because it was saucy, but because it was garbage.

chickens_law
28 Aug 2008, 21:54
Most of it was just animals having sex or videos of animal genitals.

James23
28 Aug 2008, 22:08
Terrible.

Also the joke at the end of it with Kerry Packer ringing Bert was quite distasteful.

Freo Big Fella
28 Aug 2008, 23:15
Quite an apt tribute to Kerry IMO. "Get this shit off the air" could easily be nein's new tagline at the moment.

I concur.

Respect to Kerry for pulling this shit

It was amusing at first but got less amusing as it went on. I thought Mulray's jokes were funny in a lame way :p

Doug's jokes were extremely lame but yeah i chuckled:o:D The next funniest thing were the early 90's haircuts/clothes!

Will rate it's ass off.

Certainly one of the mose cringeworthy shows I have seen in some time. And didn't Doug Mulray do a sh1thouse job. Channel 9 must have been desperate last night.

Mr_Smooth
29 Aug 2008, 12:57
well that was rather disappointing...

I concur.

Agreed. KP showed great restraint to let it run as long as it did.

The scary thing is it wouldn't suprise me if the rating were good for nine to do a follow up with more recent so-called naughty videos

29 Aug 2008, 16:42

Gasometer
29 Aug 2008, 20:35
The audience fashion and eye wear was the funniest part of it all.

1992...and we were too cool!

Was that show live or taped? Because Mulgrave made so many mistakes that they could have reshot. You could tell he knew it was his last episode.

FootyJunkie
30 Aug 2008, 02:01
Gee, what's next? Putting a random episode of "Keynotes" from 1992.

Oh wait, they did that already too.

Maybe, this is something Nine can do for a late night spot. "Lucky Dip Hour", where they select a random show from a random year from their archives.

Yeah. I suspect this was only shown to create buzz for a newer version of the show.

It is was one of the lamest things I have ever seen. Who was the guitarist? He looked like Joe Satriani.
