Has been called upon to replace Brett Lee, who has withdrawn for family reasons in the series against Bangladesh . I would've thought Noffke or Bollinger would be ahead of him but obviously the selectors think otherwise. Good luck to him:thumbsu:

Sad to hear and I am sure we all wish him and his partner Elizabeth and one year old son Preston a happy result from this news.

THey all made the most beautiful family and it is a shame to hear they could not work it all out.

Young Brett Greeves from Tassie gets his first international call up, and we wish him well:thumbsu:

She was never good enough for him. About time he realised.

Word is she wanted him to stay at home a lot more....i never get these women they want the famous/rich bloke but they want him to also never leave the house?

You can have a guy who stays at home with you and the kids all the time...he's called an unemployed bum.

Um, they have a son

I hope you do realise what a horrible comment you've just made. It's never about being good enough or not good enough, it's about the unfortunate breakup of a relationship and what that kid, who is less than one year old, has to go through.

If they weren't ready to start and commit to a family (For both wife and husband), then don't bang out a kid and make him raise up in a deformed family. If you wanna talk about childish good enough or not good enough little prince/princess then go back to clubbing and picking up chicks for ONSs

I feel sorry for the little boy.

Glad to see one of the locals is in the national side.:thumbsu:
Hope Lee gets back in soon as well, I haven't seen enough of his ex-missus to have an opinion of her.

Brett Geeves? Seriously?

Hardly has the numbers to back up selection ahead of others. May as well have picked Drew.

I guess he never sang "You're The One For Me" to her! Or maybe he did!

Geeves? For real? Likeable bloke, comes across as pretty funny, too, but caps shouldn't be thrown out left, right and centre.

Geeves is a gun, has a knack for taking vital wickets and can bat a bit as well. I have been calling for his selection for the past year, good to see the selectors have finally rewarded his fine performances.

Correct on both counts. It's not as if it would have been a big surprise that he'd be touring everywhere, maybe she didn't rate his outswinger and thought he'd get dropped soon anyway! :D

I was a bit surprised by Geeves' selection though, personally I would have gone Siddle, but I am a Victorian!

Nah, I would have went for Geeves, but I am a Tasmanian.;)

So who's the unnamed rugby bloke?

League or Union?

It would appear to be untrue. If she wanted this, how would she be able to fly to Brisbane so often to catch up with the Wallabies.

So it's Union then. One of the Reds?
