I have got an old autograph book that has heaps of signatures in it. In fact I have got 3 of them. I carry one around with me whereever I go. You never know who you might see when you are down the street.

After leaving Rusty & Not Dave at training today - I ventured up to the Hawk Museum.

Wow does it look great - improvements all the time.

I handed over my Autograph book to Peter Haby - again he was most appreciative for the donation.

If you have spare time whilst at Waverley go to the Museum - its great.:thumbsu:

My guernsey is signed by the likes of Jarryd Roughead (35), Lance Franklin (38), Jordan Lewis (40), Shane Crawford (9), Peter Everitt (1), Chance Bateman (10), Michael Osborne (7), Josh Thurgood (33), Nathan Lonie (12), Jonathan Hay (3), and Campbell Brown (30). I went down to training at Glenferrie just after my first daughter was born in 2005 and snagged the autographs.

My daughter has a heap of autographs on her guernsey and her Hawthorn cap from the 2007 December family day and the family day earlier this year. Too many for me to remember off the top of my head.

I'm also a huge fan of Jacques Villeneuve, and Formula One in particular, so I used to go to the Aussie GP each year and get multiple autographs. I have about half a dozen items signed by JV and autographs from most current drivers (except Raikkonen and Hamilton).

i love getting autographs i never would sell any of my signed stuff and don't agree with getting a sig and then selling it , i know people do but i am sure the players don't like it either . it would be awful if that lead to no sigs being given just in case it was getting sold with out their permission or knowledge that that was going to happen to the piece they just signed .

when i die or have too much i will give my stuff to the museum

It's why alot of celebrities now days ask your name before signing things. I met Rick Kelly (V8 driver) and he signed two posters for me, and one for my brother both with names on them.

My jersey is signed by Buddy, but I wear it too much and it has since faded in the wash. Probably should have framed it and gotten another one...

I reckon it's better, also adds a personal touch to the signature.

I have a 2005 Heritage jumper signed by the majority of the team, it was a gift from the club itself for my contribution in writing a voluntary opinion column for the website. Unfortunately could never aford o get it framed and its still sitting in the mailer it was delivered in. Also have a few Hawks autographs including buddy, Hodgey and changa on trading cards. I have Dunstall and Holland on a piece of paper, as a teacher of mine sat on the same plane as them returning from the 1996 final against Sydney.

My favourite non AFL autograph is a framed poster signed by my fave musician Melissa Etheridge.

I buy a Hawks jumper every year with the express purpose of getting it signed (for myself) by as many players on the list as I can get.

My signed jumpers go back to 2004 (my first year as a member).

Late last year, I bought a white training jumper to get signed by the whole squad, and only have to get Ben McGlynn's to have the complete set.

I also have our "alternate strip" which I bought earlier this year, and plan on getting that signed, at the Crimmins Medal night in a few weeks time.

Later this year, or early next year, I will be again buying our "traditional" jumper, and will start off obtaining signatures at the next family day.

I would never, ever even consider selling my jumpers, let along actually going ahead with it  :thumbsd:.

Eventually, my aim is to get them all framed individually, to hang up at home somewhere, or alternatively, like HAWKS HEROES, pass them on to the museum.
