Gave his votes on our gamme, he didn't give one of our players any votes & just to confirm he's an idiot & obviously didn't watch the game, he gave Gilbee votes & he didn't even play.:rolleyes:

It was a joke; if you listen to MMM a lot you'll know that Gilbee is one of his 'men'. A player that he likes to talk up (ala Leon Davis).
He commentated the match on Friday for MMM so I'm pretty sure he'd be aware that Gilbee didn't play.

It was quite clearly a joke. You may have noticed there were 5 names on the vote board including Gilbee whilst there is usually only 4, clearly it was a gag.
And who from Essendon do you think deserved votes?

It was a freakin' joke. How do you not get that? Gilbee is to Brian Taylor what Judd is to Gary Lyon. His manlove child. Hence he put him in the votes despite the fact he wasn't playing.

Come on, let it go. It's one person's opinion. It happens ALL THE TIME when teams get flogged. Lloyd was good, but what influence did he have? Zero.
Perhaps you should have tuned in to the radio and listened to Robert Walls harp on about how good he thought Lloyd was - hell hath frozen over.
It almost seems like this is the first time you've ever seen a commentator give votes.

gilbee was clearly a joke and they referenced it was a poor joke!
the guy on the footy show who is plain annoying is tony jones. could he be any more pro collingwood and anti essendon. he always tries his best to highlight non-collingwood players discretions. it must have been 30 secs into the show and he was bursting (like an excited 6yo boy wanting an icecream) to blurb out that mcveigh was in trouble.
