Brisbane defender Chris Scott's chance of playing against Port Adelaide in the AFL preliminary final looks remote after only completing running drills on Wednesday night.
The Lions co-vice captain failed to take part in the full training session under lights in the lead-up to the clash at the Gabba on Saturday.
Scott, who went off the ground with hamstring tightness during the second qualifying final against Adelaide, ran for 30 minutes before leaving the ground.
On Monday Lions coach Leigh Matthews said Scott's availability would depend on how he trained on Wednesday night.
In a miserly backline the 26-year-old has been a shining light and leads the Lions in number of marks taken.
He is also a vital link man for the Lions in taking the ball out of defence.
If Scott is left out of the side his position in the backline will be taken by either Craig Bolton or 2001 premiership player Robbie Copeland.
Forward Daniel Bradshaw, who suffered a bruised knee in the AFLQ semi-final last Sunday week, also trained lightly.
The good news is No.1 ruckman Beau McDonald (thing) trained with the main group and will probably replace Clark Keating in the line-up.
Despite concern over Scott the omens are good for the Lions, who on Tuesday had six players named in the All-Australian team.
Michael Voss was named captain and was joined by first-timer Chris Johnson, Jason Akermanis, Simon Black, Justin Leppitsch and Nigel Lappin.
Leppitsch described the All-Australian as individual awards.
"It's a great honour but I guess the bigger prize is coming," he said.
Leppitsch, who will probably line-up at centre halfback against fellow All-Australian Warren Tredrea, said the six-point loss to the Power in round 22 would help motivate the Lions.
"Every time you have a loss, particularly to a side you're playing later on, you tend to think about it a bit more," he said.
"These are the battles you build yourself up for."
