Anyone got it yet? What are your thoughts?
Every day I promise myself "I will go to Metal Mayhem and buy it today" but I always run out of time in the mornings before I go to work (arvo shift). Soon, soon...

I just can't be ****ed driving into the city after a long day at work. Need to get it soon though.
Whenever I go in there to get a new release, I'm always too late... luckily JB usually has stuff at the same time, if not earlier.
Avantasia 2 has been an exception though. Have been to three JB's in search of it (the longer trading hours are very helpful, plus I they are easier to get to)... no results as yet! :(
Finally bought the f@cker yesterday and had a listen as soon as I got home from work.
It's a bit hard to give a review after just a couple of listens (all I've had time for) but there don't seem to be many flat spots, so it's a good CD in my opinion.
Most pleasinb thing was track 5, "The Final Sacrifice" which has been around for a while... it was a B-side to the Avantasia single that came out with the first album. It was SO good, at the time I couldn't believe it wasn't on the friggen album, but now it appears on #2 and I'm no longer reliant on mp3 and my burn CD.
The CD is worth it for this track alone. :) Track 1 "The Seven Angels" also looms as a potential favourite. Unfortunately it's the only track featuring At Vance's Oliver Hartmann. Man, that bloke has the perfect voice.
