masten_magic, the best bat for you is whatever feels comfortable for you and what suits your game.
If you're a power player then you might want a bat that's a tad heavier, but just make sure it's not too heavy.
If you're a glancer and glider then you won't need a bat that's as heavy.
There's no specific brand, they're all made in the same 2 or 3 places anyway, so just remember that just because a bat is expensive it doesn't make it any better than another one that is cheaper.
Hope that helps

I've got an Impala that's about 5kg in weight. Cost me about $350 and I won't need it. I'll give it to you for $250 :D

Agreed, whatever feels right. You can't just go buy one off the internet or whatever, you really have to pick it up and see how it feels.
Good luck. :thumbsu:

Whatever suits you is the best option. I peroannly loved the old V900 and V100 bats and that type of feel, but ignore the stickers and go for what feels right.
Any type of Kookaburra:thumbsu:

Gray Nicholls usually releases the "spirit" range which is solely for women. Its pickup is a bit lighter and although we dont have them at work yet they are usually around $150ish.
Id look around for a harrow size as a full size or small mens will have too bottom heavy for you.
If you need any more advice im more than willing to help. :)

Agree with Mackie Man, There is a girl in my class who used to play cricket around your age and she used Gray Nicholls she was a gun I think but gave it up for netball I think. Choose what best for you.
