Redan won against Sunbury to win their first premiership.

The match was played at the Eastern Oval which was packed.

Well done Redan, from going from the brink of extinction in the mid 90's to the first Ballarat club to end the RDFL stranglehold on the BFL title, WELL DONE LIONS, i'm sure that Kev will be pleased.

Wasn't "Rotten" Ronnie Andrews recruited to Essendon from Redan?

I know someone high-profile came from that club.

Well done to them on breaking the Riddell stranglehold. Sunbury,Melton & Melton South have always had strong teams.
