Danny O'Brien must be given more opportunities in the senior team next year in my opinion!! Here is a small forward capable of kicking goals quickly... he has good finishing skills... is pretty quick and can take a clever mark... something Geelong has been crying out for all season in the forward line with Ronnie Burns having an ordinary year.

What does everyone else think?

He should've been given a game 10 weeks ago ahead of Burns.I'm afraid its too late and he'll be delisted. His form this year might get him a crack at another club.

O'brien's had hard luck this year. He has had a great year, but just can't break into the seniors. Hopefully he will have a bit of luck next year! He's won a flag in the VFL!!

phatandphreaky,

Actually, I was trying to remember whether or not this topic came up on the Cats Claw at the end of last season and if I actually started it!! I don't mind admitting that I am a fan of Danny O'Brien's play and that he should be in our senior team on a permanent basis.

I'd much rather Danny in the team instead of Burns on recent form. But i think its too late :( Hopefully he'll get a chance somewhere next year if not at Geelong!!

Well really, if he can't get into the senior team, he shouldn't be on our list. I don't really want to see him go, I reckon he's a great player. But relistically, I don't see him on our list next year :(

Go Cats!!:)
