12,000+ to watch SANFL Semi Finals today

[Port Adelaide 1870]

I went along to watch Sturt and Central District. There were nearly 13,000 there.

Central were never going to lose, Sturt looked as if they had the larger more powerful team, but they had terrible skills under pressure.

There were some Golden moments from centre to a Goal , but they were few and far between.

The standard of the SANFL compared to even 6 years ago..well is like watching A1 Amatuer these days.. A1 Amatuer is great to watch....but...

Having said that..it was still relatively exciting watching Sturt and Central..The results were close I left with the sounds of
UUUU Dogs ringing in my ears...

Would've been a *****load more there if the Slowdown wasn't on the same day. That's bad organising, and no, I don't have a better idea, maybe the Saturday after the AFL GF which would be the day before the SANFL GF. What does everybody else think?

They wanted to put Slowdown on Friday night at Adelaide oval

the SANFL refused to move the junior finals from there

Therefore the Slowdown was against the League finals

The SANFL have no idea

Get rid of the lot of them.

Umpiring in both games was a shambles.

Centrals will not get beaten. They play too smart for the umps.

The Eagles were crucified in the first game, and Umpire Priscilla did all he could to provide Centrals with a one way ticket to the Grand Final in the second.

Trust me champ, being a grass roots footy follower and being a member of footy park for 10 years having to put up with the idiots there you'd be bitter too champ.
It is a generalisation though, 1% of them are OK so technically only 99% should be shot.

Dont feel bad though champ, its not Crows supporters I dislike, just ignorant people, hence me having Port, Carlton and Collingwood fans threatening me on here too ;)

I will say 99% of footy park members should be shot. Yelling out is almost banned there.

Though I did get called a feral in the outer yesterday.

I thought the fact that the smae umpire had just given two dodgy free kicks and three 25/50 penalties in a row was a bit beyond the pale.

YEP me too wedge i couldn't sit in the members area iwas a member for over 15 years but i loved the crew behind the southern goals but in reality i hardly left the medalist bar during games!!;) ;) ;)
