Notting once again proved an excellent contributor off the bench on the weekend.

His pace and long kicking helped to give the Lions the ascendency in some crucial passages of play.

While his form, and perhaps fitness, hasn't allowed him to cement a permanent role on the field, he is still great value coming off the bench in the second half.

Last year in the GF, Notting proved to be simlarly valuable in this manner, and likewise, could once again play a similar role.

Great game by Possum, play excellent against Adelaide too. I can't believe he missed All-Australian selection.

Norm Smith medal next week, and next year runner-up in the brownlow to Johnno.

It's so great seeing Notting and Harty back in form. Tehyr'e great to watch (and this from one of their big knockers earlier in the year:o)

At times this season, Notting was struggling just to make the Lions senior side, let alone AA selection.

He's certainly a chance in future years though, if he can put his best out on the park every week (for four quarters). :)
