For those going to the parade on Friday, or just looking for a good place for a few beers may I suggest the Turf Bar.
They are becoming an unofficial social club in the city, with a merchandise stall set up on Thursday and Friday for the Lions, and it would be good to support them. I will be heading in for a couple of beers after the parade, and it's right near the corner of Bourke and Queen st, so let me know if anyone else is keen to catch up!!
Yep, I'll be up for that CJ.
I might be meeting up with a few other BigFootyites, so perhaps we could make it a little get-together, and then head out to training!
Maybe we could exchange contact details over a PM.

I will try to get Maverick along. His dress sense and behaviour in public are an impecible example to us all.
I believe Mr.Ripper and Beausgirl will also be in town (along with many others!).

For all those going to the parade, head into the Turf Bar on Queen St, right near Bourke St after it's all over! Have a beer or sarsparilla and look forward to the game ahead. Hopefully I'll see a few of you in there!!

i may well sneak in for a sars after the parade....
