View Full Version : Our performance at Brownlow
Must say I was a bit surprised with our performance at the Brownlow ending up 4th overall on the team tally board behind Brisbane, Port and Adelaide and ahead by 1 vote over Collingwood;)
Well done to JJ on getting our highest ammount of votes. Was there ever any doubt though?:)

Round 17 vs. Richmond, McVeigh was voted BOG. Jason Johnson received ZERO.
Absolute bollocks. I am pretty sure I recall that JJ played a blinder that night; I was there, close enough to the ground that Scott Lucas could hear me talking to him.
Anyone have the stats from that game?

Anyone have the stats from that game? JJ damn near won us that game on his own in that last quarter. He was a man possessed.

Article in HS about weird Brownlow voting today; McVeigh's got a mention.
There was a Geelong player (Corey?) who was voted BOG against Melbourne in Round 10, despite being benched twice and playing for only 21 minutes! I think his stats were 9 handballs and 5 kicks.

In coming years, I would urge all of you to back Adam Ramanaskaus, he is quality and will win one, get on.

Not wrong there windyhill, he is a class player and does attract a few votes. JJ was robbed on a couple of occassions and will go close again one year.
windy, he was also Sheedy's tip on Talking Footy last Tuesday night for our next possible Brownlow medalist.
