As a mere season ticket holder, I'll be at the top of the Ponsford, as per last year, section U2 (hopefully Bono will be in attendance) but slightly closer to the action than I was last year.
Where is everyone sitting? How long did you have to queue? Better or worse position than last year? Who must one sleep with to get a seat at ground level? :D

Top of the northern in M15. Not sure exactly where that is in the northern stand, but I don't care as long as I have a seat.
Sat at the top of the ponsford last year and was dissapointed when i got the tickets, but the seats ended up been right behind goal, and were really good.
only lined up from 6am on sunday, so the wait wasn't too bad.

Same here, but maybe with some Collingwood supporters. Pity Micky never made the team this year.

Q1 in Southern Stand also. Looks a hell of a long way away compared with my second-row-from-the-fence seat at the Gabba...but i don't care...at least i'm there this time! Can hardly contain my excitement!
At which end is our cheer squad - I assume the City end?

on radio TAB (since qdl tab bogut sa tab) i heard one of the people from the cheer squad & she said that they might sit in the ponsford(sp?) stand like always!
Section S5 in the Ponsford, Row Q 28. Yes! Queued from 8 AM on Sunday, for four and a half hours, outside the 'G'. Much better possy in some ways than the one I had last year. I stood on the half forward flank, between the fifty metre line and the start of the centre square.
Met heaps of old Fitzroy supporters in the queue, including two I've known for nearly forty years. Just like the old days of queueing at the Junction Oval. Four and a half hours goes really quickly, when you're with quality people.
Had a choice of seats in the Gods in the Southern Stand, or ground Level in the Ponsford, but only seven rows back - too close to the fence to see the other end of the ground. Decided on Level 2 in the Ponsford, behind the goals, at the city end. As it turns out, this may have been a good choice, because I believe being in Row Q means I'm going to be 17 rows back, and thus under cover.
To be brutally honest, I have a nightmare in which Brisbane plays a GF at the 'G' and it turns into a Melbourne winter's day. My fear is that the depression caused by the weather may have an effect on the sunny spirits of our players. Then I think of how well we play when it puddles down in Brisbane, as only it can in Brisbane. We'll do O.K. if it's damp.
Fact is, I think we'll do O.K. Full Stop.

well sadly enough i wont be at the mcg..but i wont be sitting as i find it impossible not to run around the living room if theres a big game on....the ample flow of beer will not help this either and the swearing will probably kill all insect life within 50metres of my house...
