We finished top of the ladder...so the Grand Final should be at the Gabba.

Eddie Odd Ball wants an "uncompromised" footbally league, a fair system, no draft concessions.....well you Moron....don't hear you whining about the GF being played at your home ground you idiot.

Is this the AFL or still the VFL?

Lethal was pi$$ed off big time it was reported.......they flick a coin for the shorts......but collingwood get their change rooms..the rooms that the Lions wanted.

Wake up Wayne Jackson...what are you, McGuires puppet.

As much as I would love to see the GF at the Gabba, it's a fact of life that the ground only holds 37,000, whereas the MCG will draw(and hold) around 90,000.

If all was fair and just in the world, this wouldn't matter but bums on seats mean dollars in pockets for the AFL.

AAmi Stadium can only fit 45,000, so an AFL GF at that venue in the foreseeable future saeems unlikely also.

Anyway, the MCG holds no fear for us anymore.

Especially after we "cream the Pies" on Saturday.

the decision was made by the afl and had nothing to do with collingwood. a decision had been made before last weekend that the winner of pies/crows would have the northern stand, winner of brissy/port the southern. collingwood only found out about it at the same time brisbane did. ed or anyone else at collingwood had no involvement. good luck saturday.

Get your hand off it! Give us an extra 3 X $400,000 per year players to fit in our team....and we will talk about evening up some other things.

I reckon for the GF they should have two games ...this year one at the G and one at the Gabba ..... the winner would be the team with the best for and against.

A financial boom for Brisbane and the G also gets a game.

Some years there would be two games at the G and other years just one or even none.

GF should always be at the G except if Summer Bay can get a bigger stadium built.

Errr, no......Port finised top. But agree, Brisbane finished ahead of Collingwood, so in a fair world the GF should be held at the Gabba.

Seriously whats it got to do with crowds ... if crowds were the sole basis for holding games of football then you would play every game at the G and besides that how many actual "supporters" get to actually go to the GF.... mainly its a revenue raising exercise for other clubs and a networking meeting for big business.

Hey,no argument from me there.

That's what I said - it's all about raising revenue. Unfortunately, that's what makes the world go round.

Apologies to adelaide people about my ignorance of the capacity of AAMI - I really did think it was around 45,000.

You learn something every day.

Got to watch out for Mav; when he's off the Orthoxicol, he's likely to say - and do - ANYTHING!
