That was the launch of Chris Donald's book, "Fitzroy - For The Love of The Jumper".

It was a huge night. Some of the attendees included, Kevin Murray, wearing his 1969 Brownlow Medal, Bill Stephen, Norm Johnstone, Kevin Wright, Ray Slocum, Mickey Conlan, Darren Kappler & Levo's friend, Scotty Palmer.

The pub was full of Fitzroy memorabilia, including some brilliant portraits of Fitzroy legends, such as Butch Gale & Billy Stephen.

The book is even better than I imagined, with stats on every Fitzroy player from 1897 onwards, every game from 1884 onwards & loads of photos, interviews, caricatures...

You've got to get a copy of this book.

I was planning on attending, however, unfortunately as I have a number of assignments due, along with a number of other things on this week, I had to forfeit attendance. :(

It's a shame . . . because it sounded like a great night.
