If none of the names for the club were a stand out what do you think were other options for names, I think the following are credible alternatives

Sea eagles :thumbsu:
Warriors
Taipans :thumbsu:

Less likely
Suns
Tropics
Cougars
Triumph

There must be some name "logo" we can all agree on

Personally I like the Suns, would have taken the Ironman

I was hoping that they would use the name Southport Sharks, but in hindsight probably have done what WCE did in their inception and prefer to carve out their own reputation.

How about Marlins ;)
I originally suggested Predators but Suns would have been alright too.
Just having GC FC i'm sure will be fine. It seems to work for Freo!

Gold Coast Schoolies - for the next few years whilst they are playing in the U/18 comp. Gives them time to come up with a nickname.
