Great movie and easily my favourite Paul Newman film. It has one of the great movie quotes too, 'What we've got here is...failure to communicate.'
9/10 for me.
'I can eat 50 eggs'
Saw it on TV a few years back, enjoyed it. :thumbsu:

Sometimes I struggle to get really influenced by movies that have such a clear theme, but this was excellent. The acting was absolutely awesome.

Telly Salavas was the first choice for the part of Luke. However, he had a fear of flying and wouldn't fly to California for the shoot, so Newman was cast instead.
One of my favourite scenes.
