Seriously :D

The sad thing is that he'd probably battle for a game at Port :D
I know i said different a few months ago, but if Port proposed a top line trade (which, given their depth, would be possible), i am certain that Geelong would send Corey BACK to Port.

Enright would fit in just fine, I'd reckon.
What style of player are Geelong after anyway? Obviously not tall defenders or ruckmen, sadly...

Some may disagree, but our needs, in order of importance:
* Key forwards.
* Small, running, creative defenders.
* A back up ruckman (no one special, a Cain Ackland type)
* A goal-kicking outside midfielder.

Actually,that is what we do need.Street will probably go,so we need another back up ruckman & with McGrath retiring & doubts on Foster & Woolnough,we need more tall defenders .
Take Foster [ex-Port],pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.

Enright will have a big future in front of him, to let him go means that we would want something pretty special, not just a bunch of guys who have a little bit of talent but will never play more than 50 games.
Having said that I am certain that Port would have possible trades. But does Enright want to go to Port? A few games in the under 19's hardly makes him a favourite son.

Hasn't Corey Enright only recently signed a new contract with Geelong?? If so, I doubt that Enright would even want to leave our club and with the talented group of youngsters we have coming through, the future (along with Enright's) looks very good.
Go Cats!! :cool:

I think it is important to keep in mind that Enright was playing with a dodgey shoulder all year. He badly dislocated it in Round 3, and was rushed back, and needed a reco when the season was over.
I think being 100% fit next season, he will be a fine player to come for the Cats playing in the centre or off half back.

Yeah, he's from Kimba on Eyre peninsula originally, so the fact that Geelong is still country would make him not so likely to uproot from `homesickness'.
Which is a damn shame.

I'll let you have Enright for the Cornes brothers. We'll even throw in Matty McCarthy & Henry Playfair.

We're gonna go places with the young players we've got now! No need to take them away. We have moulded them into players of the future, so we don't need to trade them!
Go Cats!!:)
