(Just following up from last year...)
Who's been the most impressive player from the 2007 draft, so far?
Who will stand out the most in years to come?
Who will be the most valuable player for us in the future?
David Myers
Tayte Pears
Darcy Daniher
Cale Hooker
Tom Bellchambers
John Williams
Jarrod Atkinson
Rhys Magin
Its so sad they all played at least 1 game this year....

Myers is definatly a keeper, could become a real star that kid.
i voted for Myza.
but i wanna make it clear i'm not happy about missing out on Palmer.
(essendon recruiters - take note!!)
Bellchambers runs a close 2nd. he's easily the value pick.
(essendon recruiters - that's better!!)

Can we have one damn thread about Myers without the mention of Palmer?

I'll go Atkinson for something different. I believe Myers will end up being the equal if not the superior out of Palmer and himself. Different kind of players, probably the most promising thing I saw this year was at the Adelaide game (the first one), where Knights' first choice in the centre square was Myers, Lonergan and McVeigh. There are huge wraps on him, just the way he carries himself on the ground, he cares so much more than anyone else, reminds me a lot of McVeigh.

As far as promising goes... Pears for mine, has the promise to be one of the elite backs in the competition. Quality key backs dont grow on trees...

Myers - becasue he just looks like a footballer (note the term footballer). Cool under pressure and his kick is thumping.
One guy I would never ever write off is Daniher - write off Danihers at your own peril. Reckon he will become a good player - already shows the Daniher attitude which puts him ahead of the game.

Agreed.
Bellchambers and Atkinson second for mine. Atkinson could turn out to be a very handy depth player IMO

Jarrod Atkinson is our next running backman.
Tom Bellchambers is our next backup ruckman.
i hope you all realise Atkinson was one of the oldest rookies in the comp.
he'll be 24 next year - and only has 5 games to his name.

Got a good feeling about Bellchambers and as has been said, i think Atkinson will be a solid player for us.

Magin hasn't gotten much mentioning...
I believe 10 kilo's later, and we'll have a star on our hands.

I voted Bellchambers for 'value for draft pick'... i think myers has shown his class and i hope he can be a prolific ball winner in the future and not just an outside player as what my very early impressions are but Bellchambers for an 18 y.o ruckmen taken outside main draft, he looks quite promising and certainly justifies why we went the extra youngster in the draft rather than the experience
