Hi Footy Fans...
Welcome to Grand Final week! Two teams remain standing now and this time next week in South Australia, will see either a new champion step forward or another team continue its relentless juggernaut toward a third consecutive flag.
Its down to Central District and Sturt in the SANFL Grand Final, 2.20 pm at AAMI Stadium, this Sunday October 6.
But now to the lowdown on the Preliminary Final, and Adelaide Oval saw a 14000+ strong crowd witness the Redlegs and the Blues go at it for a spot in the big one.
It was the Blues who completely blitzed the Redlegs in the first half, kicking 11 goals to six. The Redlegs didn't score in the third quarter, which doomed the people of the Parade to another year of disappointment, Macca's men completely destroyed and the Blues ran out winners by 49 points, sending a clear message to the Bulldogs in the lead-up to the Grand Final.
