Heartening to see that the SANFL are expecting a 35,000 crowd to Sunday's big game.
Compare that to the Power's two finals appearances at AAMI Stadium this year: 33, 131 v Collingwood; 27,661 v Essendon.
Be interesting to see if that many people rock up on Sunday.
Weather is expected to be a little dodgy, which by the way will suit those magnificent Dogs very well.

Good thing, I hope more turn up..it really justifies the large crowd on G.F. day...

How many did the AFLWA G.F. get ?

Er, what's the admission price for the SANFL GF?

yep they need at least 35,000 to give it a good atmosphere it looks barren without that size crowd as Mc was hinting at if it is sensibly priced the crowd should come . The power matches on TV looked terrible with the stadium only just over half capacity was the only reason for this the price or is that the best crowd they could have hoped for?

Good player - number 23? BOG in a final having kicked a bag. Pretty handy side that Central one. Still like that old Central guernsey the best.

Robin Mullholland won Centrals B+F in 1968 and 1972.Also played state footy in 1972(don't know about the other years!!).Mac was right he was a good player and very well known at the time. There is a 'Kelloggs' card of him and I'm pretty sure a 'Mobil' card as well.

Peter Kreig well what a legend!!! 1991 premiership player and that's all that matters!!

Well, if Mrs Fish`s cousins, half brothers, stepdads, butchers, uncles, vets, best friends, Mums, gardener, played for Centrals, how could I not support the Dogs.

I have always found the atmosphere much better at SANFL games. I've hugged a lot more strangers at SANFL games than AFL games. I always preferred going to the footy when the only seats were the front row, as I am sure a lot of people did.

Much like in the former VFL before the National AFL Comp took over.
