What do most think? I like the Sydney game in Sydney think I'll be making that trip!!
;)
Awesome draw.
Will definitley be going to Sydney and hopefully one of the Tasmanian games.
The AFL have hooked us up that's for sure.
Lets just hope for a decent pre-season.
NO EXCUSES this year.

Recall the game at the WACA when we won by a couple of points and the "**** yeah" by tony woods :)
yep...i like this draw.
glad to play the Lions once only! ;)
not too many Friday nights in a row either..was getting rather sick of it!

Damn Hawk Headquarters...damn you...
1 Sunday, 30th March Melbourne M.C.G. Away
After a good pre-season, we get off on the right foot, (after all Melbourne, it IS an odd year). First up win. 1-0
2 Sunday, 6th April West Coast York Park Home
vs the Rising Eagles in Tassie, I'll be here cheering you on, and after the Power debacle, you better do me right. Long trip for the Eagles, and we just get over the line. 2-0
3 Saturday, 12th April (Night) Port Adelaide AAMI Stadium Away
Barely have time to see the gf/wife (or both!) and they're on the plane again. Miss out this time, never in the hunt, fought back well in the last quarter, but not quite. 2-1
4 Saturday, 19th April (Night) Sydney M.C.G. Home
Home to Sydney, who are looking very untidy after losing some of their stars from 2002, including their inspirational skipper. Hawthorn turn it on for most of the game, and run-out massive winners. 3-1.
5 Saturday, 26th April Richmond M.C.G. Home
Following on from last week, another destruction of the opposition. 4-1.
6 Saturday, 3rd May Carlton Optus Oval Away
It all goes awry. Playing the 'perfect' brand of football for the first quarter, another thrashing looks on the way, but we turn 'off', and somehow contrive to lose this game, to the rejuvinated (and fit! Carlton). 4-2.
7 Friday, 9th May (Night) Kangaroos Telstra Dome Home
Hmm...playing the Kangaroos at their home ground? Interesting. The Kangas are really struggling at present, and we manage to beat them....just. 5-2.
8 Friday, 16th May (Night) Essendon M.C.G. Home
FINALLY! We get the breakthrough. Really close game, some strong nerves in the end from Ries and Brown get us over the line in a nail-biter. 6-2
9 Sunday, 25th May Geelong Telstra Dome Away
After the highs of the previous week, we come crashing back, losing to the sky-high Cats. Why we are playing Geelong at Colonial I don't know. This may be the one that got away. 6-3
10 Sunday, 1st June St. Kilda M.C.G. Away
Some young fella from the Saints tears us a new a-hole, and they snatch a nail-biting victory. Again we lose two on the trot. 6-4.
11 Saturday, 7th June Adelaide M.C.G. Home
Our midfield dominates the struggling Crows, and despite Carey's influence, we win easily. 7-4.
12 Sunday, 15th June Collingwood M.C.G. Away
'This is final's football' Well now they now what it is, expect a tough physical contest. We're good enough though to beat them, even if it is a draining contest. 8-4
13 Sunday, 29th June Fremantle York Park Home
Utterly destroy Fremantle all over the park, but kick woefully for goal, winning only just, despite 15 extra scoring shots. 9-4
14 Saturday, 5th July Western Bulldogs M.C.G. Home
Defeat the doggies despite a dominating performance by Darcy, who kicks 5 goals. 10-4 and finals bound.
15 Sunday, 13th July Brisbane Lions Gabba Away
Oh dear. The tradition continues. At least this time we 'only' lost by 60 points. 10-5.
16 Saturday, 19th July Melbourne M.C.G. Home
Return game against Melbourne, and after the Brisbane debacle, Melbourne run all over us. Yze racks up 30 possessions and kicks 3 goals, while Neitz kicks 7. 10-6.
17 Friday, 25th July (Night) West Coast Subiaco Away
The 'impenetrable fortress' remains. The Eagles out-run us in the end, winning by about four goals. 10-7, and heading back to mid-table with 3 consecutive losses.
18 Sunday, 3rd August Port Adelaide M.C.G. Home
Primus isn't his usual self, and Hawthorn's new ruckman '??????' wins the battle, as do the Hawks. 11-7.
19 Saturday, 9th August (Night) Sydney S.C.G. Away
After destroying Sydney earlier in the year at home, they are too good for us in Sydney. 11-8
20 Saturday, 16th August (Night) Kangaroos Telstra Dome Away
For the second time in the season, we play the Kangaroos at Colonial, however this time they reverse the result, keeping their (mathematical) finals hope alives. 11-9, and sitting 6th.
21 Friday, 22nd August (Night) Carlton M.C.G. Home
In a must win game the Hawks turn it on, getting better as the game goes on. A big win in the end, as Carlton's finals hopes come to an end. 12-9, and jump to 5th.
22 Sunday, 31st August Richmond M.C.G. Away
Need to win to get a chance of double chance, and despite trailing by nearly 40 points at half-time, we come charging back to win by 7 points over a flat Richmond outfit. 13-9, and finish 4th on percentage.
...
Just a note...last year I predicted us to go 15-7, and I only got 9 right! (out of 22). The only team I was less accurate with were Collingwood. (8 out of 22).
