One of the players selected in the 1958 All Australian team, had a son, who went on to play for Fitzroy. Another All Australian from the same year, was the son of a former Fitzroy player. Who were the two All Australians?
Brian/ Gary Pert i reckon is one.....
I correct myself.... Neil Roberts, and his son Michael had a brief career at Fitzroy when not in the solarium. That was one part of the connection.

You've got me there, adey115. Neil Roberts is correct, but he wasn't one of the players I was thinking of. There is another father of a Royboy & son of a Royboy in the team.
i have out-witted the great pizza man and now feel appropriately guilty for doing so.....
did owen abrahams son or father play for the roys? what about the great muzza's father....

We got there in a roundabout sort of way.
Don Gale's son, Michael played for Fitzroy, as did Kevin Murray's father, Dan. Dan Murray was also 19th Man in Fitzroy's 1944 Premiership team.
The correct answers therefore are (i) Don Gale or Neil Roberts & (ii) Kevin Murray.
