how are r.tregenza & d.morrell looking at training is there any chance one of these two can break in to the seniors this year i hear there are big wraps on these two fellows any information would be apprietiated.

The news is that Tregenza was injured and is out for the rest of the reason!!!
Tough luck for this rookie from the West.

Its a crying shame because competition was going to be strong amongst the rookies to make it onto the list this year.

At last check did we have one or two vacant spots?

There are 38 players on the list.

Mick Martyn qualifies as a veteran so we can increase the list by 1 player to 39.

This year we can only do this by promoting a rookie.

The limitation to this is the salary cap.The last advice is that salary cap would be breached if we promoted a rookie.

So what happens (and heaven forbid) that one of the boys is put onto the long term injury list as happened last season.

Do the injured one's projected player payments still have to be declared or does this free up some funds to promote a rookie.

I'm assuming that an injured player has some swankey sports insurance policy that covers a percentage of their match payments while they're incapacitated.

Does anyone know how this works?
