Pretty **** poor. He is nothing but an overweight never-was. And to think that the Pies gave up Mal Michael for him
How does Molloy like this stat?
Michael - 2 Premierships
Molloy - 0 Premierships
Yet another huge mistake from the Pies to go along with their many others. How about Paul Williams? Francis?
Tarrant & the Davis boys want out too.
What is it with the club that most of the players don't like? The supporters? (most likely) The coach? (sniff sniff) The President? (the next Skase/Bond).
Time for a shake up me thinks......
This is a p*ssweak windup. He has always been a player who was injury prone. Nothing has changed.
Like Voss and Hird and Buckley, the game causes him pain, because of the way he plays it. The luck of the draw saw Collingwood without this key forward for most of the year. This happened a lot when he was at Fitzroy and at Brisbane. Don't blame the player, although I'm not convinced about his commitment to fitness.
Collingwood recruited him with full knowledge of his history.

Skilts, dont worry, this guy is John Janevski or FJD which is a pseudonym for Collingwood troller.
He has even gone on the Sydney board to troll Collingwood.
He lives alone so has a lot fo time on his hands including trying to lampoon From the Outer by breaching their copyright and copying their template and starting a Collingwood bagging web site.
Packed his dacks when discovered and had to close them down with his tail between his stumpy legs.
Dont bother responding with a serious answer to his tripe.

Totally unfair to Molloy.. The only reason he's had a bad season is due to injury concerns - he's a great player when he's 100% so just wait Pies - you haven't seen the best of him yet.
We loved him when he was up here and were VERY sad to see him go. BUT... back to Melbourne was his wish - and so good luck to him.
Obviously we're VERY happy with the trade in gaining a fantastic player in Mal Michael - he's been great to our club - unfortunate for Collingwood to lose him BUT as I said - just have a little faith in D9.
It's always bad to see supporters bagging their own players - just have a little faith in your team.
I reckon they should have played B Holland. He would have given it a good whack. But to play molloy, injured as he was, y not get him to line up on the wing in the opening minutes and crash into, black or voss or lappin. He would have been worth sumtin then
despite the origin of this thread, franger makes a good point. i was stunned that, after all the debate as to whether it should be molloy, holland, mcgough or richo to fill in for clokey, they didnt use molloy in the only real valuable way he could have. he was only ever worth a quarter to us and that should have been with a mandate from MM to attempt to decapitate as many lions as possible. im not one for king hits etc but get him in there and crack skulls for the first 20 minutes. it was a GF for christ sake.

Agree totally. But you can't be too harsh on the Pies. They haven't had much Grand Final experience the last 20 years.

This person has an anger management problem. All the people I've ever met who were capable of the violence he advocates, never bothered to tell anyone they were going to hit them, they just did it.

Any ideas about who this t*rd is, in his previous manifestations? He can't be such an ****hole after twenty-odd posts, it requires more practice than that. Maybe he's a natural. I'm tipping he'll get bored and never be heard from again.
Sniper is out of the same mould. I really do sympathise with Collingwood supporters sometimes. You are forced into the position of saying these people are ****ers, but they are OUR ****ers.

Fitzroy only won one flag, and that was in about 1945, you must be very proud.
I guess this burning hatred you have for all things Collingwood must be because you know that we will be here forever and you are JEALOUS.

Just passing by and saw this post on Jarrod Molloy and as one of my Fitzroy favourites, couldn't resist posting.
Very hard for the boy to get the pill from the bench. Not many before him have and doubtless few after him will.
My view is that he should have been given a quarter and just told to go for it. Plays on a lot of emotion and just might have made the difference. Never mind, some from Brisbane way may rue their arrogance come this time next year. By the reaction of some in Brisbane, they know that the arrogant ones have nicely loaded the gun for the pies and Molloy to fire next year.
Whats wrong with a bit of humility and consideration from the winners to the losing side? Another five minutes and the result could have been reversed. Collingwood conducted a magnificent September campaign and no one in the camp deserves to be belittled just now.
Don't know anything about sniper but his type are the people who ruin good constructive comment about football.
While my old Fitzroy heart supported Brisbane in a very mild manner, I now barrack for North Melbourne and the same heart bled a little for all Magpie players and supporters.
Believe me Fitzroy people know more about losing than anyone who follows AFL, and I would lile to think we all should show some sympathy for the vanquished, particularly in GFs.

Coming from a Fiztroy supporting family and living in Brisbane - believe me I know about losing - Remember the Bears had a terrible time of it since their inception.. The first "live" game I went to as a little girl was the first AFL game up here: Bears V Fitzroy at Carrara... VERY miserable day (yet again) for the Bears - Great for the ROY boys!
And from what I've seen of Brisbane Lions supporters - most are NOT gloating the win - we know it was one of the most difficult games we've played and Collingwood played a FANTASTIC game! So knowing VERY WELL what losing is like - I pile on my commiserations.. losing - especially such a close, hard fought game really sucks.
So commiserations to Pie supporters - but don't demean your club and players by doing an Eddie and try to find excuses like "If they didn't have that salary cap concession..."
