View Full Version : What's the bravest/stupidest/most outrageous sledge you have done at the footy?
As things have been a little heavy around here I thought this may lighten it up a little, although I may live to regret it:p
I get really worked up at the footy and love giving it to the opposition. The most outrageous sledge I ever performed was b4 we were members a few years ago. A mate who is a Hawthorn member invited us as he had 2 spare seats for the game. Not having the opportunity to go very often we were stoked and I was positive the Eagles would smash the Hawks as they weren't doing so well and Subi was well and truly still the "House of Pain". I got a pair of my knickers and wrote in huge letters "EAT THAT" accross my butt. Much to my other halfs amusement and our mates horror I stood on my seat and flashed it in the hawthorn members faces. It was so funny seeing the old biddys outrage, funnily enough the guys didn't seem as fussed:D Unfortunately our mate didn't invite us again though and he still blushes whenever it is mentioned:p

I'm only 15 and I did this at the time when I was 14.
Anyway it was night, the Eagles beat Richmond at the MCG by around 40 points and me and my friend were at the station. There was a drunk Richmond supporter(there always is btw) and I started teasing him about losing the match. Singing the song, waving my scarf and flag and he says "You're not that good". So I said something like "Better than your team old man" and luckily the train just arrived because this guy threw his can on the ground and looked like he was about to tackle me.
Ripped int o Chad Fletcher, told him hw was a usless son of a bitch, who couldnt ****ing fkick over a jam jar, and was a list clogger.
In 2006.
The crowd didnt appreciate it, but now, my my how their tune has changed.

WCE v WB - there was a free kick either at the first bounce or very soon after to us. I shouted "He's been doing it all day" which got laughs from all sides. And one dick decided to argue with me.....

Eagles vs Hawthorn at the G (The Buddy gets slammed one).
Got pretty rowdy, busted out a few calls. Late in the game Lynchy going for goal, and me standing up between the posts directly in line with him and yelling "Put it on me tit Lynchyyy" while pointing to my right nipple was quite a good one. He got the goal. :cool:
Actually I said a lot of things that game, was a good day (apart from the fickle finger of fate taking away Nico's ability to play AA quality football).
