My In My Dreams list. North for the Premiership (that goes with out saying) but I said it anyway.
Brownlow Medal Carey but he wont get it, so Harvey.
Norwich Rising Star Dylon Smith.
Most courageous I'll give it to Byron.
Best pre draft pick Sinclair.
Coleman medal Sav.
Norm Smith Medal Leigh Colbert.
And I will be lighting a lot of candles and saying a lot of prayers that The king has a relatively injury free season.
Sorry if this has been done before but I'm new on here and I missed out. How many do you think I will get right?. And I am only asking the roo supporters. Anyone from other teams, go make up your own dream list on your own board.

Daphne,
I don't think you've left anything out.
But I'd just give Colby a premiership medallion and the Smithy to Jason Mc.

So I suppose I'd better get out tonight and howl to the moon for this wish list??!!

I still reckon we go and kidnap a virgin Essendon fan (Dim24 should do) and sacrifice him to the great Gods of Football.

He must be. It's hard to imagine any female being attracted to his personality. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/wink.gif

With Wayne entering a new "phase" of his illustrious career, why not him for the Coleman?

I believe that Byron Pickett has all the necessary attributes of Brownlow medallist, however, Brent Harvey seems a more logical choice as he would have won it last year had it not been for his fade-out late in the season. He appears to get a lot of votes.

As for the Norwich Rising star, I will stick my neck out and say Daniel Motlop. From all scribes, he seems to be an exciting package.

Norm Smith? Well, has Micky Martyn ever played a bad Grand Final? He certainly deserves more accolades, however, this is one medal the Duck easily can win and richly deserves.

And for the all important B&F, who could argue against John Blakey. Always polls exceptionally well and like a fine bourbon, he gets better with age.

Are you sure about that? I thought that Blakey has finished in the top five of our B&F only once.

Getting back to the wish list, I vote for the boys wearing no jumpers and painting numbers on their backs.

Good perve value me thinks.

Oh, and I'm happy to do the painting. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

My only wish is for an injury free season to our best 25 players. And I'll go for Daniel Harris to win the Norwich Rising Star..

Hmmm, does 125 ring a bell ? How about being scoreless in the first quarter for the second h&a ? or Blakey being knocked senseless ?

Does **** off to your own board ring a bell?

I wish (or is that HOPE) that the 2nd/3rd year players i.e. Watt, Cochrane, Rawlings, Lange, Motlop etc. to take the next step and become quality performers in a great side.
And, of course, Carey to have an injury free year.

Windy Hill

Go to your own Essendon board and check the thread titled "Dan24" and started by our very own Rooboy or if you're going to stay here, find the "Cap In Hand" thread started by the Dutchman. You'll find from there that there's a fair amount of mutual respect between the North and Dons fans here and we generally try and keep the pisstaking off the club boards. If you're going to post your crap having a go at North, please do it on the main boards.

Well said shinboners. Windy Hill thinks its being clever. It takes no intelligence to to take the *&#$ out of any club so why do it. Windy Hill, please crawl back under the rock from which you came from.

Come on Windy Hill, come out and acknowledge our comments.

I tell you what, us North fans have plenty of respect for Dons fans like Arch, Sandie, the Dutchman, Walshy93, Rice80SF and a few others. Wanna know why? I'll tell you why. They will mercilessly take the micky out of North, and we'll give out as good as we get. But in the end, they pay our club respect as we do your's. No matter how much shit they've heaped on Carey, and how much we've returned on Hird, in the end, they've said, "Well, Carey's a champ" and we'll happily acknowledge Hird is too.

So, come on down and tell us you've f*cked up here. A few North fans here started a fight on the Richmond board, but they apologised when they crossed the line. You started it, now finish it. Come on Windy Hill....where are you?

Time to lay out some bait.....

I heard on radio this morning an interview with Lloyd where he talked about how Lucas had beefed up over summer and how much he enjoyed doing "one-on-one" work with him. I wonder if Hird got jealous. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/eek.gif http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Guys

Don't expect Farty Hill to be returning here anytime soon. And apologies to our friends over at Essendon for ever thinking that Farty was really one of them. For you see, if you go to the Essendon board and check Farty's topic, "Enjoy It", it seems that he's a fair weather, glory hunting and possibly teenybopper Dons fan!
