The latest offering from Vin Diesel.

I was actually surprised, it's not half as bad as I was expecting, well on a visual level. It did seem to be a pretty easy target for lazy reviewers who needed to fire a few bullets. It basically worked as post apocalypse Transporter film. Getting a girl from A to B.

In terms of story it really made no sense, there were thousands of questions to be asked and not one was answered. Apparently the director submitted a 160 minute cut of the film, the studio wouldn't have a bar of it, they recut it and ended up with a 90 minute piece of confusion, which worked in the most basic of ways, but addressed nothing about the story.

The director then apparently disowned the film.

6/10, but I wouldn't mind seeing a longer cut.

I really liked it, but I am a huge fan of Vin Diesel. I agree the story line is a little muddled and while it does try to explain itself in the end there are many unanswered questions. But the action is really well constructed and the chemistry between the 3 main actors is very strong. It probably needs a sequel to explain the ending. I think the critics have been overly harsh on this film. I would give it a 7/10. Vin Diesel rocks.
