I hope Ben Dixon is kept at the Hawks next year. He is a great player, brilliant off the left foot, creative and a proven goal kicker. ALl we need to do is to harness his talent, get him injury free and leave him on the field (as opposed to his time on the bench).

I would be extremely disappointed if he was to be traded. He still has so much to offer - he just needs to be motivated a bit more. He has too much talent to trade. And without Chick, our forward line will be stretched.

Comments??

He is on the to be traded and is on the delisted lists at HFC. So it is most likely going to happen.

Try emailing the club and telling them your concerns about it and they might just keep him

This like everything else that has been mentioned on here has been floating around at HFC and I found this out a month ago.
The Hawks listen to everyone who is involved as members, players or family members of players and any outsiders.

Yeah well they are stupid if he goes..the whole match committee and football department have no clue about personnel at the club

I have an idea.

I will email the club and post this thread as part of the email. They will then see wtf us hawthorn supporters want.

Dixon will stay if Parkin still has any clout with the club. Dixon did play a lot of the season with injuries including broken ribs. If he survives the trade period I think he will only have one year to prove himself. Harford is the one that may find himself in trouble.

They didn't listen to us when we signed petitions about Trent Croad leaving..

And in the end they made the right decision, and got Luke Hodge.

Maybe we should trust them this time round.

We traded Croad and Lord last season, this year it looks as though Chick is headed west. Barker's fitness is under a cloud, and now we are talkinfg about trading Dixon.
One question .... who is going to kick goals for the Hawks in 2003?

I spoke to someone at the club who said Harf's gone and Dixo wont be traded unless Hawthorn feel they'll get something worthwhile - if they cant he'll stay!

Hawks should stick with Dicko.

He carried an injury and illness thoughout the season. I could understand why he had a bad year.

Well if Hawthorn are considering trading Ben, gees I hope that Carlton pick him up. :)

He would be great to have at our club :D
