F@CKEN PRICKS.... what more would you expect... St Kilda v Collingwood at Colonial that all in Melbourne can go and see live then a second rate movie in "Predator"... just shoot me or the pricks at seven...
So where is everyone watching the game this week... Bastards at Channel 7 have done it again...
am I right in thinking it will be on Optus at 10.10pm of Friday...
Yes ROOBOY and i'm guessing its LIVE on C7.Why not show it after the "Blockbuster" Coll v StK.
------------------
"Hey ,just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand"
Apparently it IS on Optus around 10pm Rooboy, too bad I have Foxtel.
Friggen bastards, I really give up on Channel 7.
I wonder if the social club will have it on cause living in Ascot Vale myself the only person I know who has optus lives out in Park Orchards and I don't want to be leaving there around 1am.
Bloody Hell Malibu, you get on the Eastern Freeway it will take you 15minutes to to the end turn right into Springvale and then left into Maroondah up to Mitcham left turn into Mitcham and up to Park rd Right into Park Rd and down to Park Orchards. It will probably take you 30mins at the most. I do it everytime I go to the Football it is easy . Originally posted by Malibu:

Thanks for your sympathy Icon.
I know the way Daphne, I'm only against the fact that I'll get home so late when I want to go the VFL match on Saturday morning, and I like a few brews on a Friday night after a hard week at work!
Actually Daphne, the time I met you at the B&F I think I'd had a bottle or four of the sparkling white.

small icon.... why do you keep yelling is it because no-one listens to you???
Rooboy...
YES, seven are pricks.
BUT
I cannot defend your libelous attack on Predator, calling it a second-rate movie (or should I say it the Arnold way, "mooo-fie").
If they're going to be pricks and not show the Roos match, they make up for it somewhat by showing this fine film. But they are still pricks.
I'll try to say this a little more eloquently!
At least you do have some options as to seeing your boys go round. The Richmond / Hawthorn game in Launceston on Sunday is not being shown anywhere. Period. Not on Free to air or C7, not delayed until late, not on at any pub or club. Nothing. Zip.
All things considered, I would be pleased if it was shown at 10.10 that night. At least I’d get to see something.

That sucks big time too CJH.
I wonder if the Brisbane vs Adelaide match from NZ will be shown, oh hang on, seeing there are NO Victorian teams playing it THAT one, Channel 7 in their wisdom WILL show it I'm sure. Morons.

If the AFL wanted people to watch that game, they wouldn't have played it in Launcetson http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I can't stand the 7 coverage. Their game day commentary set up is improving but their beefing up of the ump's mic's, at the expense of the effects mic's, which capture the crowd and atmosphere, is grating on me bigtime!!!! It's shyte! I won't even start on the quick switch to the camera on Pluto!
Usually I'd be recording the game I go to then watching it in full when I return home. Because it's on 7 tomorrow night I'll instead forget about recording their analogue coverage and instead watch the full replay on FOXSPORTS 1, without ads.
Geez, digging this thread up is amazing. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh the memories:cool:

Seven's coverage has been very disappointing - it just lacks dynamics. Maybe the fact they are showing so little live into Melbourne is part of the problem.
But overall I expected much better.
Incidentally, Essendon haven’t beaten us since this thread started.

But for future reference, a left turn at Springvale, a right turn at Mitcham then a left turn at Park Rd will save another 5 minutes.
Just think, if gr wasn't trawling the ancient posts I would never have had the opportunity to set this right.:)
