i'm not sure if this will be operational, but the afl website has a live scoreboard on the main page (www.afl.com.au). this is definitely available in home and away/finals matches, although it may not be for the ansett cup. anyway im sorry thats all as clear as mud, but try going to the website at the start of the game. it updates quite well, and player/team statistics are easily obtainable.
