Pretty big month for gigs with Livid and it's spin offs happening?
Anyone going to Livid? I decided to opt out and see some of the side shows instead.
Going to Goldfinger Saturday, Unwritten Law and Sum 41 on Wednesday in Geelong, and Reel Big Fish next month.
Also hoping to get down to Gaslight next Thursday because the D4 are doing an instore appearance. If anyone like new garage rock like The Hives, The Strokes, The Vines or the White Stripes check these NZ boys out - great band without the hype but with the tunes.

I'll be going to DV8 on November 30 to see some quality power metal. ;) Am considering seeing Destruction (and Dungeon) on November 13, but have no idea what the venue is, and I think it's also a work night which may be hard to get out of.
And of course there's a plethora of polka and kraut-country bands playing the beer halls of the Oktoberfest at the Showgrounds.

Im seeing my mates band Inspite tomorrow at the Crown and Anchor. They are a pretty good up & coming metal band with a big future. They are hell original and have some awesome songs.
On the 25th October im seeing Inspite, Tidal, Clone - B, Down To Size and Diatribe at LeRox.
Tidal is a sorta nu-metalish band which sounds more slipknoty who play in complete darm except for fluro black lights and they where bright white radioation suits and paint their faces and hair in fluro white. Has a good effect. They are damn awesome too.
1st November ill be seeing BloodDuster at Enigma Bar then running to hopefully catch Butterfly Effect at the Tivoli.
November 28 ill be seeing the Michael Voss of Progressive House DJ Sasha (ie. GOD). That show will simply be awesome.
Then December 7 is Enchanted Forest 5 which will be massive.
Me and some friends have secured free tickets and will be teeny-bopin' it at M-One tomorrow.
Will enjoy the Tea Party, mates in CrashPalace and I work damn hard to somehow entice Shirley Manson back to my place!
Oh, and they have some awesome muscle cars there too.
Better than sitting at home and everything is great when it's free!!
As for any other events...dunno.

It's not next month, but the one after that.....Sleater-Kinney at the Corner Hotel in early December.

Considering I missed out on Oasis at the Forum, I'm going to see them at Livid.
Boyfriend's going to the Forum to see Morrissey on Tuesday, but I passed.
Other than that, it's RHCP in December.
Going to Livid. Should be going to the forum. :(

I saw a mates band and a few others at a punk rock gig last night, not too bad. I have my ticket for Livid, then I'm going to Falls over the new year and BDO is 100 days after Livid.

They are; Main Stage 2, Old Scotch Oval, 7:15-8:30pm.
I won't be watching them though, would much rather see Bodyjar.

Not sure if this has been mentioneed, but Deftones have announced that they will play at Big Day Out 2003. Thought that may interest one or two people around the place!
