Well done kangas on a great win tonight
Congrats to Sav, Dylan Smith, Daniel Pratt and Joe Mclaren for their great play to beat the eagles to show the rest of the competition that even though we may be in financial strife, the footy team can still do what it does best WIN!
BTW Daphne mentioned in an earlier post that there were reports. Any north players involved?

No dont know who the reports were supposed to be. I know it is only early days but wasnt it good to see the boys stay in front, not just get the lead and then take a rest. Jess Sinclair ended up playing an alright game. I am very impressed with the new boys. Dylan Smith pulled a hammy hope he will be ok soon, as I like the way he plays.

I was waiting for the excuses to start Daddy4eyes you moron. It was a great start to the season. The boys really played it out. I was there and was very impressed by Dylan Smith. Also Kingy was sensational when he came on, and Corey actually looked good. Took a few grabs around the ground as well. Stevo looks set for a big year also.
Many positives came out of the game which I hope the boys can build on.

Hey, don't be sorry Jod23, it's a running joke with some of us supporters and David 'Burger King' Calthorpe.
He didn't make an apperance in the seniors (funny that) or the VFL team, I'm guessing he was doing a take away tour thru the suburbs.
When you hit the lights at Barkly and Gordon Streets, you can turn right to get to the Whitten Oval carpark, or left to get to KFC.
The burger radar must have pulled him to the left.
I am never going to see DC in the same light ever again. I am going to laugh everytime I see him. EEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
I am glad I did not know of his burger nickname last year when I was introduced to him by Brady Anderson at his going away party - I would have laughed in his face!

Geez, didn't know you people would get so offended over that. It's not as if it's the first or last time you will hear an opposition fan bagging your team. Not that i said anything insulting anyway.
ohh, and thanks for reminding me rooboy, the eagles don't need the money so they didn't even try.

Your insults are laughable - the guys are having fun with you. And you're right, its isn't anything we haven't heard before, CAPTAIN ORIGINALITY!
But the fact is, the main board is for razzing up the opposition after they beat you. So please consider yourself warned, we don't want to have to sick our ruff & tuff new moderator onto you next time you need some consoling.

And before you start thinking that we've only just made that up, go to the Richmond board and an earlier thread on this board where I requested some of the North fans here to stop going to the Richmond board to abuse them. You can ask TigerTank or CJH about it.
