No one has ever produced runs so consistently at the highest rate for two decades as he has.
Not many batsman have had better techniques, or powers of concentrate

Absolute legend. I'm happy I've had the priveledge of watching him live(Short quick innings in an ODI earlier in the year. Was his 400th ODI Innings).

A legend, and a gentleman, owns the world of cricket more than 16k runs in ones days, the most hundreds in test and ODI's and also the greatest run scorer in test. I think he has about 30K runs altogether. What a star and a true great.

Absolute legend, by far my favourite player outside of Australia. I remember seeing him make a hundred in Australia a long time ago when I was very young, I think he was only 16 or something, and I've been a huge fan ever since.

The fireworks were massive overkill, wish they would replay any old interview with Sachin just so everyone could remember how great and humble a guy he is. He wouldn't have wanted them.
