There's so much crap on television that my brain could very well explode just to put a list down. But disagree very strongly about My Name Is Earl being one of those. Quite the opposite, one of the best shows going around at the moment.:thumbsu:

Family Guy. I detest the shit. Friend asked me to help finish some tiling at his house. Arrive, just before we start Family Guy comes on, he decides we'll watch before we start. I nearly had an epileptic fit staying in the room while it was on.
Had to go outside to cool down after 5 minutes or I was going to smash his TV.
Go around to another friend's house and he pulls out some new Family Guy DVD and asks if I want to borrow it. I laugh at him explaining he's not likely to get that DVD back in less that 100 pieces if he gives it to me.
I dunno what it is, but that show sends me right off the deep end. I'd probably murder that Seth MacFarlane if I ever got close enough.
How otherwise intelligent people, usually with good taste, seem to like the show, is completely beyond me.
I'm with you. Although i don't hate it as much i cannot fathom why people rate it so highly.

Aussie Kath and Kim is a classic and brilliant, yank one only good for yanks.
Idol is rubbish
never watched big brother for more than a minute over all the years that crap was on.
Couldn't stomach Steve Erwins rubbish but he fooled those dumb Americans they loved him he had them well and truelly sucked in.Saw him flatten a camel to get close ups for some show, first time I ever saw the cruel mongrel on TV. I thought, who is this dill, and of course, respect for the dead, but he was bulldust ,but most Aussies knew that anyway.
Thats all. I'll watch pretty much anything, so I'm easy pleased, just shows how bad my above selections were as TV entertainment.

I HATE that show, i think i'm in the .0001% of females who haven't seen the movie....

Because it's funny and sometimes comedies don't require you to be a snob to like them. Family Guy I realise isn't everyone's cup of tea, but comedies aren't meant to be a feat of cerebral muscle, sure there are great subtle comedies that don't have wide appeal but people like Family Guy because they can shut off their brain and laugh at the zany madcap humour, pop-culture references, and attacks on societal norms. Sometimes moments of the show and complete episodes fall on their arse but when they get a joke right it's hilarious. However like I said I can understand how it's not everyone's cup of tea.
the ellen degeneres (however you spell it) talk show is the most cringe worthy sh*t i've ever seen, how the yanks lap it up is beyond me.
family guy....makes me mad, i hate it with a passion

a current affair - dumbarses who get ripped off aren't current affairs!
today tonight - similar thing
neighbours (worse than home and away from what I can tell from the adds)
grey's anatomy - shocking soap
CSI Miami - boring and orange (not just david caruso's hair)
20 to 1 - soon we'll be seeing 20-1 ****ing bogs in the toilet
hole in the wall - shows like this only work in japan and europe because they're incredibly insane
Girl TV
Rove - hasn't been funny for years, also has shit guests for the most part
eclipse music tv - worst video show ever

The P-Diddy/Jessica Simpson anti pimple creme show that is on every day. I also dislike the soft rock boxset compilation show that his hosted by REO Speedwagon, though not to the same extent.
Other than that I am pretty easy and like most shows. Hell I've been known to stay up past midnight watching The George Lopez Show rather than going to bed, even when I am tired.
Oh and I also hate The Storm Rages Twice, that late night SBS soap opera that they always play instead of Erotic Ghost Story or The Weatherwoman :thumbsd:
EDIT: ALIVE AND COOKING
Shows about FISHING  especially when they are hosted by Tasmanians or New Zealanders
Getaway  Dad is always watching it when I go visit him too. I have no idea why.

A Current Affair and Today Tonight. If I turn the TV on and I'm greeted by either I instantly change the channel. If I'm channel surfing between 6.30-7.00pm on weeknights I don't even bother to look at 7 and 9. They are absolute dogshit.
A show I've never been able to like, despite it's critical acclaim, is M*A*S*H. I've tried watching it a few times but it just always gives me the shits for some reason - possibly because half the cast only talk in 'witty' one liners.

Is there much on F-T-A that's any good? If you watch the big 3 networks between 6am and 10:30pm or so, it serves you right. They'll show a few gems, but only when the masses have gone to bed. Aside from the News (which quickly gets flicked to SBS at its near-conclusion) and the occasionally decent sporting event coverage, it's absolute ****in dog food for the brain.

Supernatural, Dexter, House, South Park, NCIS, Inspector Rex, Criminal Minds,Top Gear, just to name some, better than watching Fox, let's put on shows from the 60's, sports no one cares about & documentaries & you have to actually pay to watch that crap.

I agree with you there I really like season 1-3 of family guy but after that they started bringing in interchangable jokes every 5 minutes, plus I found they repeated the quick sex, gay joke alot in 4-6 but my friends tell me season 4-now is better so its just a matter of taste.
