The Sweedish right wing Government believes that The Scorpians, Wind of Change is the best song about peace and change. They also believe that The International Noise Conspiracy's song, A New Morning, Changing weather, is the worst.

The following are my observations about the music cattle bus, that is Livid.

Give that band member a pork chop: The international Noise Conspiracy Obviously eating is right wing, cause the legs on this band, look not so dissimilar to the ciggarette that was hanging out of Dennis's mouth whilst watching Strung out. Obviously Benson and Hedges aren't capalist enough, for him to cease smoking, yet food is bad news. This band is soo skinny, and they definatly are one that relies on alot of airburshing in their magazine shoots, cause, a) Their skin is too pale for black hair and it looks shocking, b) The girl in the band who scrubs up very well in pictures, hid behind her hair. When you did get to see her face, you knew the reason why she was hiding.

Special Mentions: The d4: They're excused cause their small, and they're ****in awesome. And tight black jeans just wouldnt look good on wobbling thighs.

My My My, I'm mainly in the bands to make the girls swoon: Jason Cruz the singer of Strung Out gets this award, cause he's soo ****in sexy. Awesome hair, great skin, looks fantastic in suit and tie (minus the jacket) and got a ****in awesome body to boot. He had me thinking other thoughts half way through his set.

Special Mentions: The dropkick murphys, They're all pretty fine boys, especially the lil bango player. I have a thing for Irish boys (hehe Graeme yr included, haha well I suppose yr the it!) and Rocket from the Crypt, boys in black with quiffs are always good.

Gee they dont sound anything like their records: Trail of the dead, sounded **** poor and overall were pretty boring. Go back to Texas and eat more angry pills and come back when your willing to put on a good show.

Most proficent sewers: Rocket from the Crypt win the award for most pleasingly on the eye dressed. Doesn't everyone know that the high brow of fashion, the dias board in the sky that we should all be aiming for, includes men in matching button up black shirts and pants, with gold glitter and bedazzler? Gotta Love a band that makes an effort, and can shake yr ass.

So my highlights of the day were Rocket from the Crypt right up the top, followed by the D4 and International Noise Conspiracy. they lost points for the contstant talking of Dennis, you know guys, you aren't ALL that revoluntionary, you've just read a few Marxist textbooks, they do get points for Dennis doing the splits backwards and forwards, five times in a row. I guess its easy when yr legs are twigs. Suprisingly I really enjoyed the Strung Out set was ****in awesome, they had the biggest crowd for the day, even though they played mid afternoon and sounded ****in awesome. I quite pleasantly enjoyed.
Dropkick Murphys were also fun, which they always are. They had a big crowd for them, and they're were alot of dropkick shirts around yesterday.

The Strangest occurance of the day, was that I got chatted up by ChannelV vj, Andrew G yesterday. I was waiting to meet Pen, Joe and Dylan at the front section of the Loudmouth Stage area near the food, when he and his rockstar hair do, and all the camera's walked by. He walked past and goes, "Mad tats" and then comes up to me and goes, "like hey I dont know you or anything, but they're ****in awesome tattoos, and blah blah blah, heres my mobile number if you ever wanna give me a ring". Eck by this stage, all the young girls who were behind sitting on seats and not so discretly saying, *Ohh look its andrew from channel v*, had now started to check me out to see why he had decided to come up to me, and not them. That part was my time to leave, I didn't want all my bad points pointed out to me by 14 yr olds :). We actually sorta ran into each other a few times later in the day, and he'd always smile and sorta wave. When Pen and I were going to get food, him and his entarague walked past and he said hi to me and asked me how my day went. I then got the third degree from Pen.
So if anyone likes Andrew G from ChannelV and wants his number. Apply from within. He is shorter then he is on tv, he must stand on stills, cause he is barely my height of 5'7 1/2 and hes got big rock star hair.

best review ever!

pedrothelioness - sounds like it was an interesting day. I'm starting to think I'll miss Trail of the Dead, in favour of someone else as all reports i've read thus far have been dissapointing. Still, cant wait for saturday!

I went and stayed on the main 2 stages and had a brilliant time

These were the bands I saw in order of how good they were

Oasis - the best by far. They didn't play a few of their best songs like Supersonic and Live Forever but they were still awesome

Something for Kate - i liked them before Livid, but they were still a lot better than I thought they would be

Powderfinger - would've been better if they had time for Already Gone

Grinspoon - also better than I expected

Motorace - eh. Not great

Superheist - pretty crap

Wow pedrothelioness, that was quite possibly the best music review I've ever read that doesn't actually mention the music.:p

What has their skin got to do with it?

Then again, I guess heroin chic has been out of fashion for a while. :p

*****en bullsh1t ran out of beer at 5pm!!! Livid was a nightmare bar too far from main stages, in all event was a shambles accept for Oasis. Food you needed a house loan to buy a hot dog
