Not this weekend, but definite plans to go up during the year, likewise trying to convince the family that we should go away to Sydney at Easter. (They haven't quite twigged that the Roos are playing at Easter. I'm sure it will only be a matter of time)

By the way I will be the one with the bottle of gin in my hand. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

when the roos play in canberra during the year maybe we can stake a section of the ground for BFB members. just like the good ol days at Arden st under the commentry box, or like under the scoreboard at the phone box, or like the pub outside the MCG
Yeah Ill be there.
Should be a good outing against the hapless saints.

I enjoyed standing in front of the Scoreboard last time I was there. Evidently it is the old Scoreboard from the MCG. Bloody hell where did I pick that up from! Now when you all see it just remember Daph told you.

Geez Rooboy96 everyone knows in my family that you dont do anything on a day that the Roos are playing, even my nephew who is getting married asssured me that he left it till after the GF. It is not that I dont have another life, its just that I dont want another one while the footy is on.
Daph,
We're staying at the Rydges Capital Hill.
Are you flying or driving up?
We are driving up, we were going to go on Friday but we are now going on Saturday, the game starts at 3pm doesnt it. Actually 3.20 it starts I just checked. Have you booked for the game? or are you just hoping it will be ok.
Jeeze, what time Saturday morning are you leaving, 1am ?
You'll probably sleep thru the match Daph.
We're flying up at 8am on Saturday and flying back at 10am on Sunday, that's just over 24 hours. Canberra seems like a nice place, but we were bored sh1tless last year having 2 full days up there.

It takes about 5 hours driving to get to Canberra.

Thought Devo might have had a party for everyone, but he has been very quiet lately, suppose he will turn up after we have been there.
