Just got off the phone from the club and I'm proud to announce that the player we are sponsoring is Daniel Pratt.
PaulKanga, Gonzo, Hotham, Warrior, CIK, and Redd, I will be e-mailing you later today or tomorrow morning to arrange payments.
One other thing is that we need a name for the sponsorship. Personal ego tells me that it should be PaulKanga, Gonzo, Hotham, Warrior, CIK, Redd, and Shinboners (or our real names), but we could also go for BigFooty Roos or the Pagan Ducks. Let us know how you feel over the next day or so as I'll let the club know early next week. However, the decision for the sponsorship name will lie with the seven of us who are putting the money in.

p.s. Daniel Pratt article in the Hun today. The only surprise was that the headline wasn't "North in Financial Crisis".

In my excitement, I forgot to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has made comments and given encouragment, but especially to MALIBU who went out of her way to give advice, encouragement, and letting the club know to expect us!
Damn proud to be a part of the best group of fans of the greatest footy club that's ever been.
I must say you do sound excited Shinboners, almost like adopting a child really, when you get a name or a nickname we could almost have a naming day on the forum. I think you made a great pick, watching him last Friday night he was looking good. It will be just a little more exciting knowing who is sponsoring him now. Good Luck with him. I hope you adopted him instead of adoped him though. And I bet his dad could tell you what his nickname is.

Daniel Pratt is a fine choice and after reading the article about him in HS thsi morning, i think its the right choice to make.
I reckon the pagan Ducks is a great idea but would be happy with anything the rest of you would choose

What about the BFB Prattlers, that is what everyone does on here isnt it, prattles . Oh well that is as good as suggestion as I am going to come up with.

His granma Iris has been raving about Daniel for years. I am glad he has made it to the big time. Nice kid to.
