Maybe you could also post up the "runner up" team....the second greatest North side ever. The "reserves" team, as it were!

We should compose 16 'greatest ever' teams and play them off ansett cup style
Let the neutral supporters adjudicate each game.
Grendel's Hawks team looks good to me, but we should allow 6 - 10 interchange playersto be able to change match-ups.
.. But who would Jarman and Salmon play for ? The team where they won most premierships, or played most games - that means St Kilda gets Lockett.

One person we seem to miss out on is Laurie Dwyer.
IMO, he will take one wing, Schimma will drop back to HFF, which means Arnie will miss out (sorry Briedis).
If that don't make the half forward line the classiest ever, I'll take a running jump off St Kilda Pier.

As one of the newies, were there any pre 70 players in consideration? We had some gun players before then and it is almost obligatory that one or two make the team.

Foote and Teasdale made the team... I think I voted for Syd Barker in the ruck on reputation alone... but that was about it... Peter Stewart got a few votes I think...

Schimma should be on the HBF, if anything, because of his pace. He played a fair bit of his footy there.
