In Perth 2008 no-one gave India a chance in hell of winning, but they did.
Could the 3rd test in Delhi be a reversal in fortunes.
Can Australia rise from the floor to record a stirring win.
Without doubt Australia need to win the toss.
Runs on the board can make an average bowling attack look very dangerous.
Does anyone give the Aussies a chance against India.
Kumble is coming back into the team, the curator has said that his going to prepare a raging turner as his "parting gift" to Kumble.
May India be shooting themselves in the foot by bringing back Kumble?

You don't give up do you?. Why do you keep making so many threads and most of them are bullshit. Anyway I said no and Delhi is Kumble's favorite hunting ground.

If you look at the scorecard, our batsmen basically underperformed. The pitch was a road, yet we nearly followed on. If you look at the shots we got out to in the second innings, i would say only a handful were actually bowler or pitch related. Hayden and Katich threw their wickets away.
All it takes is two batsmen to turn around and make a score and suddenly we're competitive.

the ironic thing is Kumble generally gets out shone on dustbowls, Kumble generally does better when the ball is coming on to the bat. Harbi on the other hand loves dustbowls.
I watch waaaaaaaaaaay too much cricket yet I dont remember the match
I think that the idolisation of the Indian players after a test win (against us) combined the hyper excitement about the nations first rocket to the moon taking off, might negatively effect India's performance in Dehli.
As Shane Warne said after England won the Ashes in 2005.. "These Pom's dont know what real pressure is until they taste fame and the fans expectation of continued success".
It drove Marcus Trescothick to quit Test Cricket.
The team also could not replicate that success.
Alan Border mentioned during the telecast that he had a talk with Pete Siddle the night of his first day of test cricket. He mentioned that he told Pete it probably wont get any tougher than this, flat wicket and some of the best batsmen who have ever played the game Dravid, Tendulkar, Ganguly and Laxman.
India are definitely on the verge of losing Ganguly and most likely Dravid at the end of this series.
And some time in 2009 most likely Tendulkar and Laxman as well.
India like us will have to undergo a re-build.
Maybe the 2nd Test in this series was India's high water mark, I know a lot of us think it was one of our low water marks. So things can only improve from here. :)

If they bring him back as captain they are.
Dhoni made sure he inflicted every killer blow at his disposal on Australia.
His ruthless captaincy reminded me of Ian Chappell.

HAHHAHA
Ruthless captainicy.
At one stage he had ONE SLIP when we were on the verge of being routed for one of our biggest losing margins ever.
FFS, if i hear another n00b mention Ian Chappell and something to do with captainicy then i will go on a brawling rampage. FFS, the guy had Lillee and Thompson in his side, someone show me a great captain who had an average bowling attack.
Great captains and ordinary attacks don't exist.
India have won their last seven tests at Delhi... they won't lose this one either.

India are the clear favourites, but I wouldnt bet on it.
I wouldnt be surprised if the aussies pull out something special.
