Hi all
Just got a call from the club and it seems that there was a mix up and someone else snaffled Daniel Pratt as their player. Someone at North must read bigfooty as they didn't even bother to offer Calthorpe to us http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/wink.gif , so friends, get ready to cheer on DREW PETRIE!
As an added bonus, we get to watch CIK cheering hard for Petrie to get McKernan permanently out of the senior side http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

(God, it feels like one of those baby getting mixed up stories that we get from the US every now and again).
From what I/we saw last Satdee, this kid will play a few games, possibly even this year. Good investment!

Drew Petrie
I saw him today at Sandringham.
A big boy for 18.
AFL player site has him at 197cm and 92kg.
A ruckman with Schimmas number!!!
Fantastic. I seen a bit of Drew Petrie on the weekend in the M.K's game. I commented to some mates, that Drew looked like the best number twenty we have had for a while.

Yep, agree with all the assessments above. Did okay in the ruck against the Essendon magoos, but looked very mobile and was very confident in taking his marks. Hopefully he'll get some chances to play in the seniors this season.
What a shame about Pratt, but I have heard a lot of people including Pagan say keep your eye on Petrie, so heres hoping.
