LED ZEPPELIN will be issuing an ambitious DVD/CD package, tentatively titled Led Zeppelin: The Ultimate Collection, sometime before Spring 2003 through Atlantic Records, according to Guitar World magazine.

The DVD set will include concert footage, interviews and remastered performances in one incredible set. Among the goodies available will be a film of the band's legendary 1970 Royal Albert Hall concert mixed in 5.1 Surround Sound, as well as a 1975 Earl's Court show. Rare Bootlegs and early TV appearances will round out the anthology. A two-CD set, which may appear as early as the Thanksgiving, is also in the works, and will feature live music either in 5.1 Surround or two-channel stereo.

Led Zeppelin To Tour Next Summer?
Posted By DSR on 10.14.02

In the rumor that never dies department, Led Zeppelin are reportedly set to regroup after 22 years for a stadium tour of America, according to Britain's Sun newspaper, states blabbermouth.net.

The Sun recounts that the three surviving members-singer Robert Plant, guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones — plan to hit the road next summer and hope to pocket £6.4million (approximately $10 million) for the shows.

According to the paper, Plant, Page, and Jones met two weeks ago at the offices of their management firm Trinifold to discuss a possible tour, which would Jason Bonham, the son of former drummer John Bonham.

A band insider told the paper: "If the right offer comes up they will do it."

Trinifold added: "Jimmy is itching to do something, but there is nothing firm yet."
