Post your thoughts here.Of course we can.

Who do you think is going to argue that it's not possible for Australia to retain the Ashes?

The question should be do you think England will gain the Ashes back next year.

But even then this poll would be biased because the majority of us are Aussie ;)

To your question - Yes we can. I must say though i was more confident 6-12 months ago than what i am now.

All depends if we have learnt lessons from 05. From what I've seen of our current pace attack we need a consistent swing bowler to be any chance in England.

True about the swing bowler, however in 2005 England were a much much better team then they are now, they are average at best now

But in comparison so are Aus

Aus can win because they are in a two horse race

Of course we can. England aren't that good, and when they did get over the top of us in 2005, they were at the peak of their powers, and we were slightly off the boil. Still, should be an awesome series.

So this team is as good as the team with Langar, Warne ,McGrath, Martyn in it and Hayden ,Lee Ponting etc three years older .Top knowledge

You are correct Im plain shit

Can we? Yes, of course

Will we? Nope. England might be shit but we're just as bad and home advantage gives them the series win. With our current team, getting 20 wickets, even against shit sides like England, is going to be an uphill battle.
