Don't you watch VH-1 'Behind the Music?'

"On stage, the band was a huge success. Backstage, things were falling apart."

Drugs, artistic differences, crooked accountants spent all their money. The ones who are still alive looking forward to making pathetic come-back.

The big hair players are bald, and the 'gorgeous' front men are fat.

Every single one of them.

Good music though.

In KC, the classic rock - to include the '80s hair bands - are getting really big in the clubs. Cover bands (which I love to play in) are making a come back in reaction to ten years of crap. You don't know how many times I've heard, "Dude, you play really good, but our band is all original." To which I reply, "Yes, but your original stuff sucks."

The 'original' bands getting gigs are also playing more stuff dirivitive of classic rock, blues based rock, and 80's metal. Hopefully this will be a continued trend with the record companies as well. Peace,

Mooster

Did the frontman for Bad English have a hit about 6 years previously with "Missing You"?
