Shows how much of a joke music is today. Nobody lasts more than 2 or 3 years. Tops.

For what it's worth, their guitarist, Wes Borland, quit and they haven't been able to find a replacement since. Therefore, they release a ****ty remix album and go into hibernation. And I'm sure not too many people are complaining.
Unfortunately enough, they will be back.
Wes Borland quit to start his own band which does fairly well on in the underground US circuit
Fred Durst is a record producer and has produced Puddle Of Mud amongst others.
He has also produced music video's to three of LB's songs and Korn songs.
Personally, i don't mind a bit of LB's stuff, but then again, i like lots of music.

Limp Bizkit will be back, dont worry about that, as unfortunate as it may be.
Its only been...1 1/2 years since their last cd. Usually its 2 1/2 years between cds. Often longer between good cds.
They did release a remix cd last year sometime. Apparently, according to Fred, theyve written some stuff for a new cd.
They are having trouble finding a guitarist. I guess not many people want to limit their guitar skills to 4 chords a song and be involved with a ****er like Fred and be in the most hated band in the world.

I don't mind Limp Bizkit. I have enjoyed all their albums, and their remix album is pretty good. I hope they keep making more albums.

According to Rolling Stones Magazine (Issue 606 Nov 2002):
Limp Bizkit are in Los Angeles (minus Wes Borland) writing songs for a new album. Durst is directing Lords of The Board - a feature film version of the recent skateboard documentary Dogtown and Z-Boys. While Borland has a new band, Eat The Day
And a source close to the band has reported that they are "teaching themselves to play guitar".
The national air-guitar chamionships were on not that long ago, why don't they call the winner?:D
