South Africa have dumped Herschelle Gibbs from the ODI against Bangladesh for going out and getting pissed [their version of Roy]
Gibbs boned for being a bonehead (http://content-aus.cricinfo.com/rsavbdesh/content/current/story/377148.html)
Surely it's time SA bit the bullet and sacked him for good.

No big loss for the Saffers, his Test career was already over and his place in the ODI side was far from guaranteed

It's a real shame that Herschelle has got himself into this mess. When all things are good, he's arguable one of the best batsmen of the world (Perfect example is his 175 against us). But he just hasn't been able to stop himself from screwing up.

Well he did drop the World Cup. Probably hasn't fully recovered.
I know it's only 20-20 but 2 very ordinary failures from Gibbs does not bode well for him this series.

There is a fine line in 20/20 between failure and success. Tonight Gibbs gave himself time to get his eye in and after like a lot of other batsmen he could not pull off the big shots successful.
Shaun Marsh.... now talk about a one season wonder. Has done very little this season in any form of the game.
