Yeah and the 'scum need to get off the mushrooms if they think that it is going to happen.
just another stupid rumour started up by the media. I wouldn't really worry about it too much.

It's amazing how many rumours start 'round this time of year. Still at least it gets everyone discussing ifs/whats/maybes/no ways.

Why does Campbell Brown's name continue to come up in swap rumours? I would think he would currently be in the top 6 most required players on the Hawks list at present, and I couldn't imagine the Hawks swapping him.

Biggest load of crap I have ever heard.
Regardless of what the papers and Essendon may think, the Bombers do not dictate the trading market.

That's a load of BS.
Anyway, I wouldn't accept that offer even if it was the real deal.

Campbell isn't going anywhere, especially for two people who can't get a senior game.

Mercuri circa 1995 and Heffernan circa 2000 yea.
As is, Mercs is gone (unfortunate as he was a helluva player once) through a combination it seems of injury and age. Heffernan has been exposed as a one paced midfielder of no set possie who struggles when tagged closely.
Brown right now is still probably not as good as either but the potential is there to give us exactly what we lack. Hardness at the ball, fearlesness and leadership from a young player.
Bamm Bamm is the future (or should be) of the Club.
No trade.

I must admit I wouldn't trade Campbell Brown but i certainly would trade Harford for Heffernan or Mercuri, surely you those two couldn't do any worse than Harford this year. I suspect if he isn't traded, he might even find himself delisted by the Hawks .
