What do you hope we'll achieve in 2003?
I'd like to see us develop a far more harder accountable style, and a defence among the best 4 in the AFL. And some bigger midfielders such as Hahn.
Playing a simpler, longer game in attack and some key forwards developing such as McGuiness & Skipper.
If we achieve this, and blood some good draft picks I don't care if we don't make the semis but rather have a good launch pad for 2004 & 2005.

I would like to see 2003 season consolidate the progress for our younger talented group. If guys like Power, McMahon, Gilbee, Birss and Hargrave can play another 18 plus senior games and if Penny, Murphy, Hahn and Guido continue to develop it will be a great launching pad for season 2004. We need to find some key position types so Wiggins needs to become a senior player and Bruton and Skipper need to play every week for Werribee without getting injured so that we have more options for the 2004 season. A top six finish would be great outcome for us.
I would like to see us become a tighter defensive unit and to really focus on some of the one percenters like tackling.
Above all else I would love to see Wallace acknowledge that Rohde has taken the team to a level of excellence that he could not.

I agree with Old School, top 6 and I'd be happy. And theres no doubting ur defence needs to improve, Wallaces game plan was exciting but it got shown up in crunch games when sides went hard and one on one, much like the power get shown up.
Grant at CHB would be a great start at improving our defence

Make the 8.

I most of us agree here
Playing a simpler, longer game in attack and some key forwards developing such as McGuiness & Skipper.
I'm still upset Werribee didn't play Skipper in the prelim. I think it was a setback from his development.

i would like to see and wooden spoon then a merger.
ok, now ive said that, anything better will make me happy! :)
lol. i wanna see the young guys given more opportunity and all the players in the side given the opportunity to play their best football. I would like it if everyone (except Bartlett, eagle and the other duds) be given the chance to prove themselves.
I reckon the best thing would be if we all jsut have fun. If the team seems happy and the supporters are happy it's all good.

A Premiership.

1. A flag and financial stability
2. If this not achievable, make finals and win a final along with financial stability
3. No third choice. Missing the finals again would be disastrous.

1. Missing the finals series is not an option for next season, be there of be square!
2. To record a loss of under 500k would be one small step for man, one giant leap for the bullies!
3. Peter Rhode to Silence Critics and succeed Terry Wallet.
4. Chris Grant to take out Brownlow at CHB.
5. Nathan Brown to give "the bird" for old times sake.

Spot on. I reckon with the talent we have we should be able to make a good account of ourselves come finals time.

You are just ultra negative! ;)
Seriously, i think anything less than a win in a final and a financial loss kept down to under a million dollars would be very disappointing.

I like all of your options but i like this one the best! I would love it! (but we better make sure we win this time!) I love it when players do something a bit different and controversial. And browny's on of the only ones left that will
